Thank a vet on Veterans Day by telling them about these free offers and discounts.

Veterans Day is an important American holiday, a time for us to pay tribute to the men and women of the U.S. armed forces who have served nobly and risked their lives for our freedoms. While it’s great to talk to, thank, and even hug any veterans you known on Tuesday, November 11, I’m pretty sure they would also appreciate a greater gift…free stuff! 

So in a campaign to pay homage to U.S. veterans and active military personnel, these companies are offering their meals, products, and services either at a discount or in most cases, for free. Make sure to forward this blog on to any veterans you know, and let them know we also appreciate their service! 

Great Clips is offering free haircuts to Veterans until December 31. Just stop in a Great Clips shop November 11 and get a card you can redeem later.

Hooters is offering any meal up to $10.99 to Veterans with any drink purchase.

Chilli’s, Applebee’s and the California Pizza Kitchen are all offering free meals from a special menu to veterans and active military Nov 11.

Red Lobster is giving a free appetizer to any veteran or active duty military through Thursday.

Golden Corral is serving a free dinner buffet from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday November 17 to any veteran or active military.

Red Robin is offering their Red’s Tavern Double burger with bottomless steak fries for free to any veterans on November 11. Shoney’s and Max & Emma’s restaurants are also offering free burgers to vets.

Outback Steakhouse is giving a free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage to any veteran who presents their identification.

California Pizza Kitchen is giving away a free entrée from their special Veterans Day Menu to any active and retired military on Tuesday.

Starbucks will serve a free tall coffee Nov. 1 to all veterans, active duty service members, and their spouses.

IHOP is offering free Red, White, and Blue pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Veterans Day.

Krispy Kreme is giving a free donut and small coffee to any veterans on V Day.

Baskin Robins named their Flavor of the Month, First Class Camouflage Ice Cream, to honor military vets. 10 cents of every scoop of that flavor sold will go toward the United Service Organizations (USO.)

Friendly’s restaurant will serve free breakfast, lunch, or dinner to vets and active military on V Day.

Denny’s is offering their Grand Slam breakfast for free to any military or veterans from 5 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, (though not all Denny’s are participating, so call first.)

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream and Yogurt shops are dishing out free single-scoop cones to all vets and military personnel on Nov. 11.

24-Hour Fitness is opening up all of their health clubs to veterans and active military who would like to work out any time on Tuesday.

Chuck E. Cheese is awarding 20 free game tokens to any military vet or active duty personnel from Nov. 11 through Saturday.

JDog Junk Removal is offering free junk removal to any disabled veterans who book with them on Veterans Day.

World of Coca Cola in Atlanta will give free admission to any members of the Armed Forces, active or retired, from November 8 through Sunday, November 16.

Sleep Number is giving vets and current military $700 off on a Sleep Number m7 bed plus 24-month financing and free shipping, through Nov. 16.

World Market will give 20% off any purchase by a veteran , active duty, etc. from November 8 – 11.

Under Armour is offering 15% off to all vets and military on Nov. 11.

Lowe’s is granting a 10% discount to all military, vets, and their families on Veterans Day.

Home Depot is doing the same, and extends the offer year round for active duty and retirees!

Bed, Bath, and Beyond is offering a 20% discount to all veterans, active duty, and their spouses from Nov. 8 through the 11th.

Barnes and Noble will give a 15% in-store discount to all military and their families on Veterans Day.

Red Roof Inn is offering 15% off for hotel stays by veterans, military, and their families the whole month of November.
